    CrTV Channel Dish

  • CrTV or CRTV, or Conservative Review TV, was an American conservative pay television channel and digital streaming service that was owned by Blaze Media. It began in 2016 and acted as a right-wing news and opinion channel offering political insights. In 2018, Blaze Media closed the CrTV linear channel, and it changed to an online streaming service. This makes many people who used to be Dish Network customers ask a question: what dish network channel was CrTV on?

CrTV On Dish Network Channel List

If CrTV was still in existence as a pay TV channel, it was aired on channel 216 from Dish Network. This placed it in the news and business category of Dish’s channel list, with other channels such as Fox Business, Bloomberg Television, Cheddar, and others.

Therefore if you have been a subscriber to Dish Network and searching for CrTV before it went for live streaming towards the end of the year 2018 then you would have been able to access it through channel 216. However, since CrTV no longer functions as a conventional TV channel, it cannot even be accessed through any channel number on Dish or any other cable and satellite platform.

    Background On CrTV

CrTV was created in December 2016 by the Conservative Review which was founded by Mark Levin and CRTV CEO, Dan Bongino. The channel was mainly associated with the political view point of conservatism, and some of the popular hosts of the channel were Michelle Malkin, Steven Crowder, Phil Robertson, Mark Levin, Gavin McInnes among others.

CRTV merged with Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze streaming service in 2018 to become Blaze Media. During that merger, CrTV shut down its linear channel operations on December 3, 2018 to combine its efforts and programming on the new streaming service, BlazeTV.

Nevertheless, Dish Network was the place which hosted CrTV on channel 216 from the moment of its appearance to late 2018, however, the channel does not exist anymore. At the present, CrTV transitioned from being an outlet on cable TV to only an online subscription service that no longer offers its content on any Dish or other pay TV platform or channel.

Attempting to watch CrTV Now as a DISH subscriber

If you are a current Dish Network subscriber and you attempt to tune to channel 216 in an attempt to get to CrTV, what you will instead come across is whatever channel Dish has recently assigned to occupy that position in their programming list. As for the channel space that was occupied by CrTV’s linear channel offerings after it ceased operations, Dish may have replaced the programs with other content.

CrTV is now a streaming service, and the only way to watch it is to go to BlazeTV. com to sign up for their platform for $9. 99 monthly or $99 yearly. This will give you access to all the CrTV content and libraries that were previously available only on BlazeTV.

But unfortunately now CrTV has no representation on Dish network or any other on traditional cable service providers. The former pay TV viewers will have to change their source of watching CrTV shows like LevinTV or Louder with Crowder if they want to continue watching the conservative commentary programs, and that would be through the online platform of BlazeTV.

This way, the new streaming-only format ensures that devoted CrTV fans can continue watching their favorite CrTV shows. However, it also erases the possibility for Dish Network subscribers and other cable customers to just click the channel up from the guides as they could when the channel was a linear TV network residing in channel 216.
