    Check Your DIRECTV Receiver

It might be a problem with a specific receiver if the problem does not manifest itself with other consumers. If it occurs on all receivers then chances are high that it is an external problem.

    Check External Connections

    Check that all the external cables of the satellite dish, receivers, TVs, and other devices are well connected and tightened where necessary. Open the Menu, select the Setting option, go to the Satellite tab, and finally check the Signal Strength. There will be a signal bar that lights up pointing to the strength of each satellite tuner, which is attached to the dish. They noticed that even when there are weak signal strength bars, it shows reception from the satellites. This is an indication that no signal at all is being received since there are no bars present.
